About the Role
Daddy's Girl Smoked Meats & Catering, a growing restaurant in historic Goff, KS, is currently seeking a *Part-Time OR Full-Time Waiter/ Waitress to join our team
****Various Shifts Available****
Waiter / Waitress will:
*Greet inform the residents of the menu selections for the day and professionally present and serve resident meals with a high level of customer service and to their satisfaction. This position also requires staff to ensure the dining room is clean and welcoming. * Greets and informs residents of available menu selections. * Takes orders from the residents and assists then with meal selections if requested. * Presents the meals to residents in a friendly and pleasant manner. * Always address residents by name and become knowledgeable of their likes and dislikes in food and beverages. * Serves beverage of choice to each resident and maintain full glasses. * Clears the table when residents are finished dining * Cleans tables at the end of meal and sets the tables for next meal seating. * Vacuums carpet in dining room after each meal. * Helps in dish room and puts away clean dishes. *Job Requirements* * High School diploma * Previous experience in dining service desired * Knowledge of state food-handling and kitchen regulations helpful *Come join our team of professionals!* Complete your application - Once completed - someone will contact you for an immediate in-person interview. *Select - Waiter/Waitress - * *Select: Brandywine Living - Reflections (Brick , NJ) * Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.00 per hour Physical Setting: * Casual dining restaurant * Fine dining restaurant * Upscale casual restaurant Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Every weekend * Monday to Friday * Weekend availability Education: * High school or equivalent (Preferred) Work Location: One location
Requirements
Greeting guests and taking drink and food orders
Staying attentive to the needs of guests in the dining area
Delivering food from the kitchen to the guests
Ensuring the food order is made correctly by kitchen staff and looks presentable for guests
Following health code standards with regards to the handling of food
Performing shift duties like delivering racks of cups to the service station, rolling silverware, pre-bussing tables, wiping tables and removing debris and more
